How Rezz gifting works
How does Rezz work for my store?Rezz integrates as a Shopify App, installed on your cart page. It allows your customers to send gifts instantly via shareable links. Recipients then choose to either get it delivered or convert to store credit. You’ll manage all orders directly in your store dashboard.
How do recipients receive their gifts?They receive a branded gift link experience — complete with your store’s branding and the sender’s personal message or video. Next, they either confirm delivery or convert instantly into store credit.
How long is the gift link valid?You can set the gift link validity period in your Rezz app settings within Shopify (between 3–10 days). During this time, the item remains on hold in your store while the recipient decides what to do with the gift.Once the validity period expires, the delivery option will no longer be available - the recipient will be able to convert the gift into store credit.
How long is the store credit valid?You can set the gift card validity period in your Rezz app settings within Shopify (up to 1 year). Unused value will expire once the period ends. You may adjust the expiration date in your main Shopify dashboard under Products > Gift cards.
What if the gift recipient requested delivery but the item is no longer in stock?In your Rezz dashboard in Shopify, you have the option to "convert to gift card". The gift recipient will receive the full value of the gift (including delivery fees) and choose something else from your store!
What happens if the receiver doesn’t want the gift?They simply convert it into store credit and shop for something else from your store. The full sale value stays with you (including delivery fees) — no refunds, no logistics.
Can the receiver exchange the gift after delivery?After the item is delivered, any exchange must be handled directly through your store in accordance with your standard return and exchange policy.Installation & Setup
